Pathology Manager

Role Overview The manager oversees the operations of the Laboratory department, ensuring compliance, safety, efficiency, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise departmental functions, including point of care testing and offsite areas.Monitor performance to maintain safety and quality for staff, patients, and visitors.Collaborate with nursing, medical, and administrative staff to coordinate patient care and improve systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field; Master's in Business or Health Administration preferred.At least five years of clinical experience, with two years in a supervisory role, preferably in acute care.Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area.Certification in medical technology or histology, as applicable, by recognized certifying bodies.
