About the role
The Data Coordinator provides support to the Pathology Department with the recording of referred patient material within the department.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the laboratory information system to accession, collate, distribute and track pathology patient material and records
- Tracks outside slide review cases
- Prepares slides and reports for interdepartmental conferences
- Performs variety of secretarial/transcription duties to ensure smooth departmental operations and excellent customer service
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Experience
1 year experience working in a Hospital or Laboratory environment Required
