Coordinator, Pathology Support

About the Role

Provides operational support to pathologists and the anatomic pathology team by coordinating case workflow from accession through final reporting. This role is responsible for pathology case distribution, coordination of external consults and specialized testing, material tracking, and documentation within laboratory information systems. The Pathology Support Coordinator ensures accurate, timely, and compliant handling of pathology materials and supports efficient communication between pathologists, laboratory staff, and clinical teams.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Requirements

  • Associate degree in biology, healthcare, or related field
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Skills

  • Experience working with computer systems and applications
  • Ability to manage work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in biology or healthcare-related field
  • Prior experience in laboratory, pathology, or healthcare operations
  • Experience with Epic Beaker or laboratory information systems
