Patent Prosecution Legal Assistant
Salary: $70K–$90K DOE

Join their growing team as a Patent Prosecution Legal Assistant, providing dedicated support to attorneys and patent agents.
Day-to-day, you’ll navigate client requests, track and monitor dockets and deadlines, conduct research, and draft various legal correspondence for attorneys, clients, and foreign associates. Additionally, you’ll enter attorney time and review invoices. This position requires major initiative, consistent follow-through, and a keen eye for detail. Any experience in biotech patent prosecution is a major plus. After an in-office training period, you’ll have a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support to attorneys and patent agents
- Navigate client requests and track dockets and deadlines
- Conduct research and draft legal correspondence for attorneys, clients, and foreign associates
- Enter attorney time and review invoices
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably in IP or patent prosecution
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and case management software
- High school diploma or equivalent
