About the role
Faegre Drinker is seeking a junior patent associate with an engineering background to join our dynamic Intellectual Property practice in our Denver office.
Responsibilities
- 1-3 years of patent prosecution experience (as an agent or attorney).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Graduate degree a plus.
- Demonstrated experience working with mechanical technologies.
- The ability to handle chemical or materials science patent applications as needed.
Requirements
- Strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- USPTO and admission to a state bar from a relevant state (or wave-in capability) required.

- The anticipated initial annual salary range for someone who is hired into this position in the Denver office is $200,000 - $225,000.
