PAT Parent Educator / Peer Recovery Specialist

Full-time position at our Pittsfield location. This role combines home visiting with a peer recovery component; peer recovery training will be provided and is required.

About the role

As a Home Visitor/Peer Recovery Peer Specialist, you will use your own lived experience to connect and engage with individuals who are or have been affected by substance abuse, either directly or indirectly. The position delivers evidence-based programming to families throughout Berkshire County.

Responsibilities

• Engage families using personal lived recovery experience
• Deliver evidence-based home-visiting programming
• Track data and input information using basic computer skills
• Partner with community resources to support families

Requirements

• Relevant experience in the human service field desired; lived experience may substitute
• Knowledge of child development and parenting
• Ability to engage all families, including multi-cultural/multi-lingual households
• Average computer skills and data input ability

Pay

$22.35 hourly wage.
