Responsibilities
- Provide group-based intervention and case management to members with Substance Use Disorders (SUD).
- Co-facilitate shared follow-up appointments (SFAs) and multidisciplinary groups.
- Facilitate psychoeducational, skills-development, cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal process, and support-based groups.
- Manage crisis intervention remotely and prepare documentation in accordance with organizational and state standards.
- Treat adults and adolescents; maintain confidentiality under HIPAA and 42 CFR Part II.
- Participate in meetings, supervision, and clinical audits; demonstrate adaptability and commitment to harm reduction.
- Manage member communication over chat, email, and phone in alignment with company mission and values.
- Respond to member chats and messages; provide support groups and subsequent documentation.
- Provide individualized resources; work autonomously, continuously learn, and prioritize tasks.
- Complete referrals, resources, and discharges; demonstrate empathy, compassion, and respect.
- Meet and exceed support metrics and service levels to ensure excellent member experiences.
- Adapt to varying state requirements (e.g., internal drug testing, fingerprinting) with sensitivity to workforce and mission.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Active Peer Recovery Certification required.
- Experience facilitating support groups.
- At least 1 year of peer recovery experience.
- Preferred experience in customer service settings.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part II.
- Familiarity with addiction recovery.
- Enthusiastic dedication to service excellence.
- Able to tackle tough support cases and solve new issues.
- Mindfully manage stress and pressure; maintain a positive, calm presence in a start-up environment.
- Comfortable asking for support, help, and guidance as needed.
- Case management experience; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Energized by working with others; excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Aptitude for problem-solving.
- Must disclose if currently running a private practice or starting one during employment; client base for private clients must not be in the SUD field. Written permission from supervisor required for outside private practice work as a facilitator or co-facilitator.
Schedule
- Full-time, four 10-hour shifts.
- Shifts: 7:00 am–6:00 pm EST or 8:00 am–7:00 pm EST; 7:00 am–6:00 pm PST or 8:00 am–7:00 pm PST.
- Evening groups at least twice weekly; weekend group up to twice monthly.
