About the role
The Pastry Prep will be responsible for prepping and baking of various desserts for Food and Beverage specifications. Must adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities
- Prepare pastry items according to The Food and Beverage high-quality standards and recipes as established by the Executive Chef.
- Help with savory prep according to business needs during down time in the pastry department.
- Alter menu items to accommodate guests’ dietary needs as requested.
- Communicate with co-workers when taking over and finishing each shift.
- Maintain assigned station throughout shift, ensure par levels of ingredients and equipment are available.
- Maintain prep work during shift.
- Work efficiently and multitask.
- Work as a member in a team of pastry cooks to effectively and efficiently prepare each dessert.
- Keep station clean before, during, and while closing each shift.
- Use proper kitchen safety protocols in regard to food preparation (storage, transportation, preparation, etc.) and equipment usage.
Requirements
- Culinary arts education preferred
- Experience as a pastry cook in a similar environment preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
