Key Responsibilities
- Set up and sanitize the pastry workstation before and after shifts
- Follow prep lists and recipes provided by the Executive Pastry Chef
- Scale and measure ingredients accurately for pastry production
- Prepare pastry components including doughs, batters, fillings, glazes, and creams
- Assist in assembling and plating desserts according to restaurant standards
- Ensure all pastry ingredients and items are properly labeled, stored, and rotated
- Support pastry team with finishing work on cakes, tarts, and plated desserts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry tools, equipment, and storage areas
- Assist with receiving pastry-related deliveries and checking quality of ingredients
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or pastry prep experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays
