Responsibilities
- Aid passengers during arrival and check-in processes, assisting passengers with special needs like unaccompanied minors, VIPs, and those requiring wheelchair assistance.
- Collaborate with Ramp Service Agents to ensure wheelchairs, strollers, and gate-checked bags are ready for loading on departure flights and delivered to passengers upon arrival.
- Operate equipment such as the jetway, keyboard, and carrier-specific reservation/ticketing software.
- Push wheelchairs with passengers who require mobility assistance through all areas of the airport, including terminals and gates.
- Assist passengers with their personal needs and lifting bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Direct passengers through customs, immigration, and quarantine requirements.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- A high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
- Standing ability for long periods.
- Customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
