Parts Warehouse/Back Counter

About the role

United Ag & Turf is a John Deere Dealership with multiple locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and New Mexico. United Ag & Turf serves customers in a variety of industries such as commercial, construction, agricultural, as well as, consumers. This entry level Warehouse position is responsible to properly order, receive, store and account for parts or merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Timely processing of sending and receiving of parts shipments
• Posts freight to work orders or counter tickets as needed for parts orders & transfers
• Performs cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
• Assists with preparing and maintaining professional showroom image and merchandise displays
• Maintains inventory integrity by verifying receipting-in of shipments and assisting with placing parts orders in their proper inventory locations
• Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
• Making certain that the technician or customer receives the proper part on time as promised
• Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• Experience connecting with customers, maintain professional image, establish rapport
• Demonstrated basic understanding of machinery
• Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
• Forklift Operation
• Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs

Preferred Education And Experience

• One year prior parts sales experience
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
