Purpose
This entry level Warehouse position is responsible to properly order, receive, store and account for parts or merchandise. In addition, performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties, as well as, pulling and ordering parts for the service department.
Essential Functions
- Timely processing of sending and receiving of parts shipments (i.e. Customer & Stock Orders, Machine Down & Surplus Returns)
- Posts freight to work orders or counter tickets as needed for parts orders & transfers
- Perform cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory; report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
- Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
- Assists with preparing and maintaining professional showroom image and merchandise displays
- Maintains inventory integrity by verifying receipting-in of shipments and assisting with placing parts orders in their proper inventory locations; assisting in cycle counts; following up on inventory discrepancies and expediting issues by reporting to the Parts Sales Lead
- Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
- Making certain that the technician or customer receives the proper part on time as promised; call customers for parts pick-up and delivers parts if necessary
- Assists Supervisor with merchandising displays by re-stocking showroom inventory
- Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
- Assists in maintaining all departmental tools and equipment in good working order
- Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service

Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience connecting with customers, maintain professional image, establish rapport
- Demonstrated basic understanding of machinery
- Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
- Forklift Operation
- Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs
Preferred Education and Experience
- One year prior parts sales experience.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
