United Ag & Turf is a John Deere Dealership with multiple locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and New Mexico. We serve customers in various industries including commercial, construction, agricultural, and consumer sectors. Our goal is to provide exceptional customer experiences at all our locations and departments, including parts, sales, service, and transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Timely processing of sending and receiving of parts shipments (e.g., Customer & Stock Orders, Machine Down & Surplus Returns)
  • Posts freight to work orders or counter tickets as needed for parts orders & transfers
  • Performs cycle counting duties to ensure all materials are properly verified against reported inventory; reports discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
  • Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
  • Aids in preparing and maintaining professional showroom image and merchandise displays
  • Maintains inventory integrity by verifying receipting-in of shipments and assisting with placing parts orders in their proper inventory locations; assists in cycle counts; follows up on inventory discrepancies and expediting issues by reporting to the Parts Sales Lead
  • Aids in keeping parts department clean and orderly
  • Assists Supervisor with merchandising displays by re-stocking showroom inventory
  • Aids in maintaining all departmental tools and equipment in good working order
  • Proactively seeks and participates in available company-sponsored training to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
  • Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
  • Ensures that the company’s reputation and image in the community aligns with company Core Values

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience connecting with customers, maintaining professional image, establishing rapport
  • Demonstrated basic understanding of machinery
  • Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
  • Forklift Operation
  • Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs

Skills

  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
