About the role
The Parts Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately binning and/or pulling parts to maintain an efficient parts ordering process. You will load and secure parts, equipment, and/or accessories for delivery, process repair shop parts orders and returns, handle Parts Counter sales and returns, and assemble standard and custom hoses to meet customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Accurately bin and/or pull parts to maintain efficient parts ordering process
- Load and secure parts, equipment, and/or accessories for delivery to other locations
- Process repair shop parts orders and/or returns
- Process Parts Counter sales and/or returns
- Assemble standard and custom hoses to meet various customer specifications
- Available to work at assigned location, including overtime, evenings, or weekends if needed
- May lift up to 25-30 pounds on occasion
- Work in an environment where hazards may be present
- Frequent hand use for typing, operating the phone, handling materials, and other job-related tasks
- Complete TMCC forklift training and certification within the first 90 days of employment; perform forklift operations as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; three or more years of relevant experience desired
- Able to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, vendors, and managers
- Proven experience as a forklift operator preferred
- Strict adherence to all applicable corporate safety standards
- Dependable with consistent on-time attendance
- Flexibility to handle changes to assigned tasks with ease
- Patience to perform routine tasks daily, accurately, and consistently
- Professionalism, integrity, adaptability, and a strong customer service focus
- Sense of urgency, self-initiative, and personal drive to be successful
- Excellent communication skills
