Parts Warehouse Associate

Duties & Responsibilities

• Stocks and posts incoming orders.
• Affords assistance to the parts manager in processing weekly stock orders.
• Notifies relevant parties when special order parts arrive.
• Serves as backup for the parts manager for inventory functions.
• Updates electronic parts files.
• Provides necessary information to the warranty department to allow prompt filing of parts warranties.
• Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock.
• Ensures that credits are received for returned parts.
• Returns parts as needed and removes from inventory after credit is received.
• Returns cores in a timely manner and follows up for receipt of credit.
• Matches purchase orders and invoices, approves, and forwards to accounting office.
• Fills out company copies of parts counter invoices.
• Affords assistance in preparing for and performing annual parts inventory.
• Affords assistance in annual parts returns.
• Affords assistance to Parts Sales Associates with check, insurance, and credit card processing when possible.
• Keeps parts area clean and uncluttered.
• Maintains professional appearance.

Pay

Salary range for Parts Warehouse Associate (depending on role and experience level) can range from $15.00-$30.00/hour.

Activity & Knowledge Requirements

• Normal physical strength to handle routine materials and tools.
• Normal physical strength to handle 20-pound object, taking frequency into consideration.
• Preferred work experience.
• Willingness to complete forklift certification training and operate a forklift as needed.
