Responsibilities

As a Parts & Tractor Runner, you will:

• Assist the mobile technician fleet, stores, and tractor assembly centers by transporting company-owned and customer-owned tractors, equipment, and parts to various locations for sale or repair.
• Support mobile technicians, stores, and tractor assembly centers with repairs, merchandising, and customer service as needed.
• Deliver friendly, proactive, and professional customer service while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic approach.

• Provide prompt and effective internal and external customer support for inquiries, concerns, and issues.
• Participate in training programs, workshops, and webinars to acquire new skills and stay current on industry developments.
• Complete transportation of assets and simple service work safely and on time, traveling daily to customers, stores, tractor assembly centers, and third-party dealers.
• Document daily work using computer systems and programs.
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and tools, including loading and unloading customer machines for repair and delivery.
• Manage multiple priorities, organize workloads, and meet deadlines.
• Operate machinery and equipment such as tractors, gantry cranes, electric hoists, service trucks, forklifts, and multimeters.
• Occasionally stay overnight when traveling.
• Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and work environment.
• Cross-train and perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no major violations).
• Experience and proficiency in pulling a loaded trailer and securing assets of various weights and sizes for transport.
• Experience operating farm equipment or heavy construction equipment.
• Proficiency with computer-based systems, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive, passionate attitude aligned with Rural King’s People Promise.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to produce error-free work and meet quality standards.
• Adaptability to new environments, responsibilities, and tasks.

Physical Requirements
