PARTS SHIPPING AND WAREHOUSE CLERK

Responsibilities

• Aid the parts manager in daily inventory management
• Return unused "outside purchase parts" to vendors
• Prepare for annual parts inventory
• Pull parts from pick tickets and deliver to technicians
• Pull parts invoices and prepare for shuttle driver
• Conduct weekly bin counts
• Stock parts daily
• Maintain security of the parts warehouse
• Keep the parts area clean

Requirements

• Basic computer and office machine skills (copier, credit card machine, telephone)
• Automotive experience is preferred but not required
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Valid Texas driver’s license
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Pass drug test
• Self-disciplined
• Motivated to exceed minimum standards
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds
• Able to perform tasks involving stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, and handling parts and equipment
• Able to work in a dusty environment with exposure to various chemical compounds and paint
