About the role
The Parts & Service Account Manager serves as the Four Star Freightliner representative for Parts and Service, focusing on increasing revenue through customer engagement, recruitment, and training.
Responsibilities
- Engage with and identify potential customers, and call on existing customers.
- Coordinate with Parts and Service Department managers to provide quotes and information to customers.
- Process payments and obtain credit authorizations as necessary.
- Manage and maintain customer accounts as assigned.
- Solicit and prospect for new customers through various methods.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
- Provide training to customers for Excelerator and Service Tracker, as needed.
- Support the Parts, Service, and Sales departments by assisting customers and demonstrating the value of merchandise.
Qualifications
- Previous sales and/or Parts & Service sales experience is preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong relationship building and customer engagement abilities.
- Negotiation skills and a focus on customer service.
- Persistence and adaptability.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of products and services offered by Four Star Freightliner.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in product software such as Excelerator.
