Job Summary

Pape’ Material Handling, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-oriented Parts Sales Counterperson II to join our team. This role involves actively engaging with customers to identify their needs and provide recommendations for parts and other services. What You’ll Do

  • Engage with customers face-to-face or over the phone to identify their needs and provide recommendations for parts and other services.
  • Use product literature, specialized software systems, and your own expertise to offer timely and accurate solutions.
  • Translate technical details into actionable part support to build lasting relationships with clients.
  • Work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, demonstrating self-motivation and assertiveness.
  • Communicate effectively with customers by telephone and in person to sell company parts and other services.
  • Show above-average organizational skills to manage inventory and customer requests efficiently.

What You Need

  • 3 or more years of parts counter experience or applicable mechanical/service experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of parts inventory.
  • Self-motivation and assertive drive.
  • Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Able to drive a forklift (training provided).

Compensation

$24.94-33/hr (Depending on Experience)
