About the role
As a Parts Sales Counterperson I, you will be the go-to parts expert for customers maintaining and repairing class 7 & 8 diesel trucks. You’ll engage with customers face-to-face or over the phone to identify their needs, recommend solutions, and ensure they get the right parts when they need them. Using product literature, specialized software, and your growing knowledge of parts and diesel trucks, you’ll provide timely and accurate support while building trust and lasting relationships.
Responsibilities
- Actively engage with customers to identify their parts needs and provide recommendations.
- Use product literature, specialized software, and technical knowledge to offer accurate parts solutions.
- Communicate effectively with customers by telephone and in person to sell parts and services.
- Translate technical details into actionable support for customers.
- Perform at a high level in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Verifiable parts counter experience or applicable mechanical/service experience.
- Basic knowledge of parts inventory.
- Self-motivation and assertive drive.
- Above-average organizational skills.
Pay
$21–32/hour (depending on experience).
