About the role

• 4-Day Schedule: Mon–Thurs (6 AM – 4 PM) = 3-day weekends!
• Support local mechanics, oilers, and jobsites in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide pick-up and delivery service of equipment, parts, and supplies for mechanics, oilers, and leadership.
• Provide customer service and support.
• Represent Saiia by presenting a positive image to internal and external customers and vendors.
• Ensure accuracy of parts ordered during pick-up and delivery.
• Assist mechanics and oilers as required.
• Organize filter kits and checklists for Oiler use.
• Deliver oil samples to lab.
• Collect cores from jobsites and Equipment Center and return them to vendors for credit.
• Return unused parts to vendors to avoid restocking fees.
• Help in locating various new and used parts for use in fleet maintenance.
• Read meters and report hour usage on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Place decals on both owned and leased fleet vehicles.
• Fuel equipment on yard and in the field from fuel transfer tanks.
• Report equipment repair needs to Maintenance Administrator.
• Assist Mobilization department in loading and unloading equipment, as well as various tasks required in assembling trailers.
• Assist in housekeeping within the Equipment Center, including crushing filters, sweeping, washing of bays, etc.
• Collect all salvageable items and store them in proper areas (includes scrap steel, blown hoses, batteries, etc.).
• Maintain Company vehicle in a clean and orderly state inside and out at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Clean driving record & ability to haul/back up a tow-behind trailer.
• High motivation, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to comprehend safety standards, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be self-motivated and work productively.
• Must be able to understand information, ideas, direction and perform the task or project discussed.
• Must have reliable means of arriving and leaving from work at scheduled start and stop times.
• Adhere to all company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards, including but not limited to the safety manual and the employee handbook.
• Ability to qualify to drive under the company’s published Employee Driving Records Policy.
