Responsibilities Parts Room Lead responsibilities include but are not limited to Oversee daily workflow and Parts Room ClerksEnter and complete requisitions in the inventory control systemObtain order confirmations for all Purchase Orders before filingEnsure parts room policies and purchasing procedures are followedMonitor expenditures and collaborate with vendors to find alternate OEM sources for better pricingCost Savings TrackerWork Empty Bin Box reviewReview open PO report and follow up on outstanding itemsTrack and monitor overnight orders to ensure timely deliveryReceive AFE’sMaintain accurate records for employee boot purchasesResolve incoming freight issuesMaintain V2 Barcoding and scanning proceduresIdentify and solve checkout issues or concernsConduct physical inventory, compare results to computerized inventory, and reconcile any differencesMonitor status of repairsCoordinate and process outgoing freight according to schedulePrioritize effective inventory management to minimize obsolete inventoryManage over-max and zero max evaluationsMaintains an accurate running inventory and enter inventory adjustmentsProcess parts and supply vendor invoices (capturing discount and pricing corrections), supplying necessary data to accounting for payment and recordkeepingPerforms other related duties as assigned This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position. Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Parts Room Lead position should possess the following High school diploma or equivalent requiredOne to two years’ experience in inventory management or accounting in a manufacturing setting preferredWell versed in navigating excel, understanding formulas, and analyzing data setsStrong attention to detail with proficiency in math and process-based tasksExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated, must proactively initiate, organize, and assign tasks as needed based on workflowAbility to work flexible hours; this position will require the lead to cover shortages in the department as neededAbility to respond effectively to change while prioritizing and managing essential responsibilities assigned by managementExcellent time management and process management skillsSAP/ERP system experience is a plusKnowledge of accounts payable processes is a plus Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
