About the Role

Kayser Chrysler Center of Watertown is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department. This is an opportunity for someone who knows dealership parts operations and wants to take ownership of the department. We are looking for a leader who can manage people, control inventory, grow wholesale business, and work closely with our Service Department to improve overall dealership performance.

The right person will take ownership of inventory, gross profit, wholesale growth, processes, and people. They will work directly with dealership management and our Service Department to make the entire operation better.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department
  • Hire, train, coach, and hold Parts Department employees accountable
  • Manage parts inventory levels, ordering, stocking, and returns
  • Control obsolescence and maintain strong inventory turn
  • Monitor parts gross profit and departmental expenses
  • Develop and grow our wholesale parts business
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale customers and local repair facilities
  • Work closely with the Service Manager, Service Advisors, and Technicians to ensure parts are available when needed
  • Maintain strong processes for special orders, cores, returns, and warranty parts
  • Monitor and improve department performance through measurable goals
  • Ensure accurate and timely parts invoicing and accounting
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Parts Department
  • Provide excellent service to our internal and external customers
  • Utilize DealerCONNECT and other dealership systems effectively
  • Ensure compliance with Stellantis and dealership policies

Requirements

  • Previous automotive dealership Parts Manager experience preferred
  • Strong Parts Advisor or Assistant Parts Manager experience will be considered
  • CDJR/Stellantis experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong knowledge of dealership parts operations
  • Experience managing inventory and controlling obsolescence
  • Experience developing wholesale business
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with Service, Sales, and dealership management
  • Organized, accountable, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to analyze departmental financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
