About the role
Management of parts operations in a 3,000–10,000 square-foot warehouse. The role involves receiving, storage, shipping, and counter sales without direct supervision responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare orders by processing transfers and creating sales orders in NAV.
- Pull materials, pack boxes, and place orders in designated delivery areas.
- Participate in physical inventory and cycle count activities, product movement, and placement.
- Perform receiving, identifying, labeling, restocking, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
- Update Min/Max items and maintain bin location accuracy.
- Research parts for customers and service technicians.
- Facilitate customer core returns and warranty returns.
- Meet or exceed customer service standards and abide by company policies and procedures.
- Work safely, wear required PPE, and comply with industry safety standards.
- Enforce property protection and access policies.
- Perform receipt confirmation in Business Central for ANS/JF Petroleum Group receipts (Receiving, Transfer receiving, and Shipping).
- Maintain housekeeping to ensure safe and workable standards.
- Drive “Over the Counter Sales” through excellent customer service.
- Occasionally deliver to local customers and technicians using a company-provided vehicle.
- Assist Service Manager/Director with technician inquiries regarding install or parts requirements.
- Unload and receive multiple truckloads of material per day, including scheduling truckloads with freight companies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must pass a 60-month Motor Vehicle Record check.
- 3+ years of warehouse experience.
- General knowledge of modern warehouse and inventory control systems.
- Experience with warehouse cycle count activities, shipping, receiving, and storage.
- Must be available to accept calls and work after hours.
- Experience with bar coding, data entry, and ERP systems.
- Customer service experience and focus.
- High-level organization and attention to detail (5S Lean Warehousing).
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must pass company employment requirements, including drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR if driving for the company.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and standing for 8–10 hours per day.
- Ability to safely mount and dismount a forklift and walk up and down stairs as needed.
- Occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds.
- Visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.
- Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform essential functions.
Working conditions are primarily inside a warehouse environment with prolonged periods of physical activity.
