Responsibilities
- Manage inventory based on demand and cost targets.
- Record and analyze the movement of parts using stock-control systems.
- Maintain accurate records of parts replaced under warranty and details of faulty parts.
- Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure parts are delivered to technicians in a timely manner.
- Hire, train, and monitor parts department staff.
- Forecast goals and objectives for the parts department.
- Maintain inventory consistent with the requirements of the various departments.
- Create pricing guidelines for customer categories.
- Monitor and adjust inventory.
- Guarantee all parts are properly tagged.
- Supervise stock order procedures.
- Enforce guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with auto parts sales, required.
- Previous leadership experience.
- The ability to lift occasionally 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic.
- Automotive & Technical knowledge is required.
- Excellent customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organized and friendly personality.
- Demonstrated ability to manage others.
- Time management skills.
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
- Team oriented and self-motivated.
- Able to work with little supervision.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
