Parts Foreman

About the role

The Parts Foreman is the heart of operations, responsible for maintaining the shop's inventory of machine parts. This position is ideal for those with a background in vehicle repair or those seeking their first job in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate inventory to allow the shop to perform necessary repairs to our fleet.
• Effectively communicate with internal supply chain, vendors, and freight carriers.
• Maintain purchase orders, pay bills, and reconcile issues.
• Audit inventory levels, reduce obsolete inventory, and return unused parts.
• Willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Computer-savvy.
• Forklift certified.
• Excellent communication skills.
