About the role

Harr Toyota is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Counterperson to join our team in Worcester, MA.

Responsibilities

• Aid customers in selecting and purchasing appropriate automotive parts and accessories.
• Maintain an organized and accurate parts inventory, including managing stock levels and placing orders.
• Provide exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.
• Collaborate closely with service technicians to ensure timely parts delivery and job completion.
• Process invoices and keep accurate sales records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety protocols within the parts department.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an automotive parts counter or similar retail environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and terminology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
