Parts Counterperson

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions, take sales orders via phone and email
• Promptly fill parts requests for technicians
• Order parts, maintain stock, search information in catalogs and on computer databases
• Handle payments
• Heavy lifting and physical exertion needed at times

Qualifications

• Dealership and CDK/ADP experience preferred
• Must be able to explain technical information to the general public
• Good eye for detail and strong organizational skills required
• Knowledge of auto parts, and experience in an automotive repair, or related business environment, is preferred, but training will be provided
• Must be available to work some Saturdays
• A clean driving record is required
• A stable work history and excellent references are needed
