Parts Counter Specialist, Ag

This position works in both office and warehouse environments. May involve sitting at a desk for long periods, answering phone calls, and using a keyboard. Physical tasks include walking, bending, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Safety equipment (safety glasses with side shields and steel toe footwear) is required. Noise levels range from low in the office to moderate in the warehouse. Flexibility for overtime during peak season and occasional local travel may be required.

Schedule

• 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Saturdays and extended hours during peak season

Responsibilities

• Take part orders over the phone and service walk-in customers
• Look up part numbers in equipment parts books or online resources
• Load and unload freight using a forklift
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous experience in parts, inventory, or farm equipment
• Knowledge of Sprayers, Combines, and Tractors
• Understanding of core parts operations and experience with parts books
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service
• Excellent written, email, and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed
• Computer literacy with proficiency in UPS Worldship, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
• Capability to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders and stairs daily
• Ability to operate a standard forklift and manual pallet jack safely and efficiently
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations in the past 3 years and no major violations in the past 5 years)

Pay

Minimum $23.00 per hour, Maximum $26.00 per hour
