Essential Duties
- Aids customers in selecting required parts, providing friendly, professional, and efficient service
- Informs customers about companion part requirements and specials, and promotes the full product line
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
- Reviews shop estimates to ensure parts ordered are correct and prices align with the estimate
- Pulls and fills orders from warehouse stock multiple times throughout the day, sometimes using a forklift
- Notifies the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials needing immediate attention
- Locates out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submits emergency orders if necessary
- Notifies the service advisor and customer when special ordered parts have been received
- Notifies shops when all parts have arrived and when deliveries will occur
- Pulls orders for delivery to shops from warehouse stock, tagging parts with customer names and job numbers
- Follows up on back-ordered parts
- Verifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns items not picked up or required to vendors
- Replenishes assigned inventory daily
- Aids outside sales representatives with preparing their orders
- Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders
- Ensures all customers receive their invoice copies
- Issues credit for parts returned, verifying the original invoice or its number
- Issues and tracks requested shop tools to technicians in the shops
- Maintains professional appearance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Good interpersonal skills and basic computer skills
- MS Office (Word & Excel) skills are highly recommended
- Ability to be trained on business software products essential to this position

Physical Demands
- Lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 130 lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to push/pull a force up to 120 lbs. during the normal course of the workday
- Must be able to climb up and down steps to reach for, pull out, and carry parts from warehouse shelving
- Requires standing, bending, stretching, stooping, crouching, reaching, and manipulating a computer keyboard
- Heavy lifting required
- Requires the use of both hands

- Mostly indoor work
- Somewhat noisy while working around operation departments
