Parts Counter Sales Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Process HVAC parts orders via phone, email, and over the counter
• Identify parts, generate quotes, and convert to orders
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues quickly
• Promote products and support customer retention
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Learn and manage manufacturer warranty processes
• Track, submit, and reconcile warranty claims and credits
• Maintain accurate warranty records
• Receive and verify incoming stock orders
• Organize warehouse and showroom inventory
• Maintain inventory accuracy (cycle counts, discrepancies)
• Support stocking strategies and inventory placement
• Load/unload customer orders and shipments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Two to five years of warehouse, parts, or counter sales experience is preferred
• An understanding of HVAC parts is preferred
• Experience with inventory control is beneficial
• Strong computer skills are necessary
• An HVAC, mechanical, or construction background is advantageous
• Customer service or sales experience is preferred
• A strong attention to detail, organization, and reliability are essential
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important
