Parts Counter Person (Rotational)

Note: This position is rotational and involves working at a remote site.

About the role

As a Parts Counter Person, you will play a vital role in customer service at our branch, serving as the key customer contact for advising and distributing parts while consistently providing superior service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound, and healthy work behaviors at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs, and initiatives.
• Enhance customer experience and brand loyalty by providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations, and regular communication of current and upcoming parts promotions.
• Manage parts inquiries and correspondence effectively over the parts counter, through email, and by phone in a timely and courte manner.
• Oversee daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring, and ordering parts, following up on backorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warranties, and building hydraulic hoses for both internal and external customers.
• Provide on-call service as required, including weekends and evenings.

Requirements

• Minimum post-secondary education.
• 3+ years of experience in a parts service role.
• Knowledge of DBS, SIS, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Pay

Compensation range: $49,845.00 to $62,305.00. The listed base salary is one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.

Schedule

• Rotation: 14 days on, 14 days off (14/14).
• 12-hour workdays.
