The Parts Counter person is responsible for assisting technicians and customers with parts inquiries and sales, both in person and over the phone. This position plays a critical role in supporting our service operations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Assist customers and technicians in identifying and selecting the correct parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Recommend related products, companion parts, and current promotions to provide complete solutions.
- Answer incoming phone calls, providing pricing, availability, and product information with exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of repair orders, invoices, special orders, and insurance estimates.
- Cook up parts orders for shipment, delivery, or customer pick-up.
- Build and maintain relationships with assigned accounts through outbound communication.
- Support both internal and external customers with a high level of responsiveness and professionalism.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming parts counter and work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
