Parts Counter

About the role

Parts Counter associate position in Vernon, CA (full-time). Support Sonsray Fleet Services/Thermo King by assisting customers and technicians with parts needs, managing inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and obtaining the correct parts for their equipment.
• Process parts orders, including looking up parts, checking availability, and handling transactions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in regular stock checks.
• Receive and stock new parts shipments, ensuring proper organization and storage.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any parts-related issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaborate with the service department to ensure parts are available when needed for repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a parts counter role, preferably within a dealership or heavy equipment environment.
• Strong knowledge of parts and mechanical components.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using parts catalogs and inventory management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy parts as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree is a plus.

Pay

Salary range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour.
