Responsibilities
- Aid Service Technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process and ensure they submit a Parts Requisition before charging out the parts; file requisition copies with repair orders.
- Maintain a steady supply of parts for the service department to keep Technicians working.
- Occasionally assist walk-in customers in choosing necessary parts and suggest additional products or add-ons, offering special deals to expose them to the full product line.
- Safely retrieve purchased parts from stock promptly and accurately, determine and place orders for unavailable parts, and notify Technicians and customers when ordered parts arrive.
- Notify Shop Foremen and customers of the arrival of ordered parts and keep supervisors informed of any delays to inform customers of estimated times.
- Set up orders for daily shipments, deliveries, and pickups.

- Maintain a consistent flow of parts to the service department to keep Technicians working.
- Review “will call” and “back order” files weekly and return items to vendors or restock as directed.
Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in truck/automotive parts counter sales.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
- Forklift experience and ability to become forklift certified by TEC Equipment preferred.
- Ability to maintain predictable and reliable attendance and work safely and attentively.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
