Parts Coordinator Customer Service
Shop Location: Hayward, CA
About the role
The parts coordinator is responsible for the oversight of parts ordering, receiving, cataloging, inventory and reconciliation of all parts at a single location. This position will also process Purchase Orders (PO's) and vendor payment requests, ensuring the right part is purchased from the right vendor and maintaining inventory levels to maximize customer uptime.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay
Hourly pay range: $25.00. Paid weekly.
Responsibilities
- Primary designee for conducting physical inventory, parts ordering, and receiving
- Processing of Purchase Orders and supplier invoices
- Ensuring parts received are properly recorded into inventory
- Overseeing parts obsolescence
- Shipping warranty and parts returns to vendors
- Maintaining parts room organization and cleanliness
- Contributing to cost containment through oversight and adherence to effective parts processes and policies
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 1 year or more in inventory and parts administration/clerical functions (preferred)
- Parts inventory experience with automotive parts, heavy-duty truck parts, or heavy-duty equipment parts
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate preferred)
- No travel required

Compensation Information
