About the role

The Customer Service Parts Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of parts ordering, receiving, cataloging, inventory, and reconciliation at a single location. This position also processes Purchase Orders (PO's) and vendor payment requests, ensuring the right part is purchased from the right vendor to maintain inventory levels and maximize customer uptime. We promote from within based on performance, with the ideal progression path leading to an Operations Supervisor role.

Responsibilities

  • Execute parts inventory management processes, including physical inventory, parts ordering, receiving, coordinating parts pick-up and delivery, and stocking inventory.
  • Process invoices and maintain records and statistics such as min-max levels for inventory control.
  • Order supplies and maintain accurate inventory counts.
  • Manage parts obsolescence and handle shipping warranty and parts returns to vendors.
  • Maintain parts room organization and cleanliness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up practices and acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to keep accurate and up-to-date records, itemize, collate, and tabulate data.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade others (internal and external).
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) years or more of inventory and parts administration/clerical functions preferred.
  • Must adhere to Ryder’s Safety Standards.
  • Will visit Ryder shop and wear safety shoes; may operate a pallet jack.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $26.00 (paid weekly). The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on performance.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.
