Parts Associate - Temporary

About the role

The Parts Associate - Temporary position is part of Foremost Farms USA, a large dairy cooperative and manufacturer based in the Midwest. This role is non-exempt and works Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parts inventory by ordering, issuing, and receiving maintenance parts from approved vendors.
• Issue parts to open work orders and organize them in the correct locations within parts rooms.
• Communicate with stakeholders and participate in cycle counts of parts.
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians to ensure proper parts availability and issue parts as needed.
• Utilize the maintenance software system to enter data, generate reports, and track parts usage.
• Maintain inventory control documents and establish vendor relationships.
• Verify shipments and quantities received, collaborate with suppliers on late deliveries, and secure vendor quotes for parts.
• Issue purchase orders as assigned.
• Adhere to monitoring and verification requirements for control points and maintain related documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of job-related experience.
• Warehouse inventory control experience preferred.
