Parts Administrator

Responsible for inventory, stocking, and issuing parts and supplies and/or purchasing assigned or designated parts and services from an approved list of vendors. Work is reviewed periodically to assure compliance with department policies and procedures.

Schedule

1st Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Receive and distribute parts to mechanics; log parts into inventory system, including parts pricing, numbers, and due dates to reduce downtime
• Maintain inventory on parts and monitor delivery receipts from vendors against received parts
• Bulk relieve parts from inventory
• Control inventory by returning obsolete, overstock, or wrong parts delivered
• Generate work orders from work requests and ensure timely closure of work orders
• File all related cGMP documents in assigned areas (e.g., work orders)
• Process purchase order requisitions with negotiated quotes from vendors
• Work with vendors for timely deliveries, back orders, and rejected items

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (required)
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or machine maintenance repair
• Basic math skills (intermediate level)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (beginner level)
• Ability to learn specialized inventory software
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test

Pay

The hourly base salary for this position ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
