Partnership Tax Senior Manager, Advanced Computational Services
About the role
The Tax Senior Manager, Partnerships at BDO is responsible for advising clients on partnership taxation, applying knowledge to prepare computations, and participating in marketing and business development. This role also involves developing and driving process improvement initiatives, maintaining client relationships, and acting as a mentor.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and develops an in-depth understanding of partnership taxation issues
- Applies tax knowledge and business knowledge to recommend solutions and maximize client benefits
- Develops and implements tax strategies, including experimenting with new strategies
- Manages client expectations and expectations for the team
- Develops and leads marketing campaigns, if applicable
- Introduces and develops new or improved ideas to improve the position of clients, the Firm, or Firm personnel
Requirements
- Eight (8) or more years of relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience
- Prior supervisory experience
- Private equity experience, both fund and portfolio company levels
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics
- Master’s in Accountancy or Taxation preferred
- CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (“EA”) (or the equivalent of one of these designations)
- Software proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with tax research databases and tax compliance process software

BDO offers a competitive salary range based on experience and location, ranging from $99,750 to $262,500 annually. Additional benefits include:

Maryland Range: $99,750 - $262,500
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $99,750 - $262,500
