About the role
The Partnership Account Manager at WorkBright serves as the primary commercial and executive point of contact for reseller accounts, owning the partner relationship and directing strategic initiatives. This role is accountable for the growth of its assigned book, owning the partner-level net revenue retention target that rolls up into the portfolio forecast held by the Manager, Partner Success & Growth. The Account Manager sets account strategy and partners with the Partnership Customer Success Manager (CSM), who owns day-to-day support execution, onboarding delivery, and account health.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary commercial and executive point of contact for reseller accounts, owning the partner relationship and directing strategic initiatives.
- Own the partner-level net revenue retention target for assigned partnerships, maintaining accurate pipeline and rolling up into the portfolio forecast held by the Manager, Partner Success & Growth.
- Execute GTM playbooks and deliver sales enablement for partner’s sales teams; support expansion co-selling opportunities, coordinating with the go-to-market Partnerships team.
- Set the account plan and growth strategy for each assigned partner; partner with the CSM, who executes against onboarding, support and enablement objectives.
- Monitor partner license utilization against contractual commitments to forecast revenue performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver regular usage and revenue forecast reports to leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and renewal opportunities.
- Own the end-to-end renewal process for assigned partner accounts, driving timely renewals and maximizing retention.
- Build and run quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for assigned accounts in collaboration with the Partnership CSM, assessing performance against goals, aligning on joint priorities, and uncovering growth opportunities that expand revenue and deepen the partnership.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy on assigned accounts; serve as a thought partner to the Manager, Partner Success Growth on account strategy.
- Support AI adoption on the team; apply AI tools to account workflows and share what works with peers.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with partner executives and stakeholders, influencing decision-making and ensuring alignment with WorkBright priorities.
- Partner with internal Customer Experience, Sales and Product teams to ensure the portfolio is resourced and joint initiatives are executed efficiently.
- Participate in co-marketing, joint business reviews, and partner-facing events to drive engagement and adoption.
- Utilize WorkBright's tech stack (Salesforce, Vitally, Quoter, AI agents, etc.) to manage accounts, forecast opportunities, and report on attainment.
- Represent the voice of the partner in commercial and strategic discussions, providing feedback to Product, Marketing, and CX leadership on growth-affecting needs and enhancements.
Qualifications
- 4-7+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Partner Management, or Consulting within SaaS or technology. Preference for experience with HR SaaS platforms.
- Experience managing and growing strategic or enterprise partnerships and reseller accounts.
- Track record of carrying and hitting a revenue, quota, or growth target through partnerships or channels.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to direct multiple deliverables, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Exceptional follow-through and professionalism in holding both internal and external stakeholders accountable.
- Experience engaging with and influencing senior executives (VP/C-Suite) and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex adoption, onboarding, or integration initiatives with partners or clients.
- Analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to drive partner strategy and measure success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentation experience.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience using AI, dashboards, or other tools to monitor partner health and performance is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for partner meetings, business reviews, and industry events as needed.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs such as revenue attainment, partner adoption, satisfaction scores, or program milestones.
- Strong technical aptitude with above-average skills in Google Workspace or similar platforms.
Pay
$80,000 - $90,000 base with a $40,000 variable
