About the role

This highly visible role will work across AWS Software & Technology partners globally to develop and implement strategic plans that include building awareness, generating demand, and driving pipeline and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of B2B marketing strategies, coupled with hands-on experience in integrated marketing, digital demand generation, and partner or alliance marketing.

You will be the subject matter expert for marketing partner solutions with and through partners across sales segments and geographies. The role will partner with product, field, brand, digital, partner marketing teams, and agencies to define and execute a global demand, content, and campaign strategy that drives acquisition and engagement.

You will develop targeted marketing programs aligned with business priorities that engage and nurture prospects throughout the buyer's journey, measuring and optimizing performance against goals and ultimately driving conversion and revenue growth. You will work closely with partners and our geo-based partner teams to help execute these programs regionally and be an expert resource on marketing processes and guidelines for partners.

This role requires a proven leader with the demonstrated ability to think strategically to build and convey compelling value propositions and content with technology partners. They will work closely with partners, partner management, and marketing teams to identify specific use-cases, customer personas, and industry verticals to build and deliver joint value propositions for using AWS.

The ideal candidate will have creative ideas, extensive analytic and data-driven customer demand generation experience, and a proven track record of driving successful demand generation programs. The ability to effectively communicate across both technical and non-technical audiences is critical. You should be detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. A solid understanding of the cloud landscape and software providers is critical to this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to build awareness, generate demand, and drive pipeline and revenue with AWS Software & Technology partners globally.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for marketing partner solutions across sales segments and geographies.
  • Partner with product, field, brand, digital, partner marketing teams, and agencies to define and execute a global demand, content, and campaign strategy.
  • Develop targeted marketing programs aligned with business priorities to engage and nurture prospects throughout the buyer's journey.
  • Measure and optimize performance against goals to drive conversion and revenue growth.
  • Work closely with partners and geo-based partner teams to execute programs regionally and provide expertise on marketing processes and guidelines.
  • Identify specific use-cases, customer personas, and industry verticals to build and deliver joint value propositions for using AWS.
  • Create and convey compelling value propositions and content with technology partners.
  • Drive successful demand generation programs using data-driven insights and analytics.
  • Communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously while managing ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
  • Experience producing marketing promotional material for Owned & Operated channels.
  • Experience in brand identity and voice development.
  • Experience creating brand marketing content.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using customer research, hard data, and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs.
  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, and reporting for demand generation.

Pay

  • USA, CA, San Francisco: $88,700.00 - $155,200.00 USD annually.
  • USA, WA, Seattle: $82,700.00 - $141,100.00 USD annually.

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
