The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new opportunities with both existing and acquisition partners.
- Understand the partner’s business initiatives and articulate the HV solutions portfolio.
- Align HV enterprise accounts to the partner base and recruit new partners.
- Aid in end user selling in tandem with channel partners.
- Own and manage forecast and pipeline for assigned accounts and territory.
- Execute gap plans to exceed revenue objectives.
- Facilitate partner support by having complete knowledge of available HV programs.
- Work with GSI National Account Managers on district-based opportunities.
- Establish strong relationships with partner executives and involve HV management.
- Provide new ideas for growth and develop training programs for partners.
- Document a business plan in the territory using SFDC.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of industry knowledge, including storage, digital transformation, IoT, solution selling, and related technology experience.
- Strong working knowledge of HV partner base and HV Alliance partners’ and GSI’s sales teams and solution offerings.
- Leadership, communication, and sales skills.
- Ability to inspire partners to work with HV and HV reps to work with partners.
- Proven ability to leverage MDF programs to drive results and capture new business.
- History of exceeding sales goals.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
- Ability to articulate a persuasive value proposition to VP and CEO levels within the partner community.
Pay:
$175K to $200K base salary, with expected on-target earnings of $250K to $285K.
