Partner Communications Specialist

About the role

This role reports to the Partner Communications Manager within the Global Client Services (GCS) organization. The Partner Communications Specialist creates, maintains and distributes assigned GCS communications, employee engagement content, technical documentation and knowledge resources using established plans, templates, standards and approval processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit and distribute assigned internal and external communications across approved channels using established templates, messaging standards and review processes.
  • Create newsletters, announcements, leadership messages, presentations, digital communications and introductory e-learning content for assigned initiatives and audiences using tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Articulate 360.
  • Publish and update assigned content in the GCS Learning Academy, including team pages, role descriptions, curriculum links, announcements, job aids and employee resources.
  • Translate business, operational and technical information into clear, audience-appropriate communications and documentation, with guidance available for complex or sensitive topics.
  • Coordinate assigned communication timelines, reviews, approvals and deliverables within established project plans, escalating risks or delays to the appropriate project owner.
  • Support established opportunities for employee connection, collaboration and participation across GCS.
  • Support and help coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition efforts, awareness campaigns and organizational events, including activities such as Customer Service Week, team events and learning activities.
  • Coordinate assigned activity details, communications, participant information, schedules, materials and follow-up actions under the direction of the Partner Communications Professional or Manager.
  • Collects participation data and employee feedback using established measures and summarizes findings for the appropriate business or Employee Experience leader.
  • Researches assigned content and information gaps, documents findings and recommends practical improvements within established standards.
  • Maintain organized records, trackers and project documentation.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong editing, proofreading and audience-focused writing skills.
  • Ability to translate technical or operational information into clear, accessible content.
  • Good project coordination, organization and time management skills, with the ability to complete assigned deliverables within established plans, standards and approval processes.
  • Ability to apply established communication and content standards, prioritize assigned work and escalate sensitive, ambiguous or high-impact issues appropriately.
  • General awareness of data analysis and communication or engagement metrics.
  • Willingness to share established processes, templates and communication practices with peers when requested.
  • Detail oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and consistency.

Experience, Educational Requirements, And Certifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of communications, employee engagement, technical writing, training or related experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and learning management systems such as SAP SuccessFactors Learning preferred.
  • Technical writing, communications, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Articulate or change management training or certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting at a desk with a computer monitor for several hours at one time.
  • Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
