Part Time - Youth Soccer Coach (Barrington/Hoffman Estates, IL)

About the role

SOCCER STARS is the country's largest and most popular soccer development program for children aged 1-7. We aim to educate and inspire the next generation of soccer players through our best-in-class curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach soccer skills in a structured environment suitable for children aged 1-7+
• Nurture self-confidence and encourage growth among young participants
• Create engaging and fun experiences both on and off the field
• Adapt to varying ages and abilities, ensuring a positive learning environment
• Use positive reinforcement to encourage children and celebrate their successes

Requirements

• Genuine love for working with children
• Confidence in teaching games and skills in a fun and engaging manner
• Energetic, friendly, and outgoing personality
• Comfortable working with young children
• Prior experience in childcare or preschool environments preferred

The Position

Our coaches use a non-competitive approach to make classes fun and stress-free. They learn the curriculum to teach at each developmental stage and use positive reinforcement to encourage improvement.

Schedule

Variety of shifts available, including:

• Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm (actual times of classes will vary)
• Saturday and Sunday: 8:30am - 12:30pm (actual time of classes will vary)

This is a long-term commitment, not just for the summer. College students are welcome to apply but must commit to regular hours during the school year.
