Part Time Youth Mentor

The Role

Rite of Passage Team is seeking Part-Time Youth Mentors at the Colorado Qualifying House in Idaho Springs, Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision of at-risk youth.
• Support the physical, personal, and health needs of each student through individual counseling and skill development.
• Create a supportive environment for the youth we serve.

Requirements

• Local resident.
• At least 21 years old.
• Bachelor's Degree in the Human Services or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Commit to (2) 12 hour shifts, either 7 am - 7 pm or 7 pm - 7 am.
• Empathetic, patient, and respectful towards others.
• A desire to work with troubled teens.
• Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
