About the role
The Youth Mentor supports the team and works with youth referred to the program to enhance their engagement, participation, and successful program completion. Responsibilities include transporting clients, maintaining daily attendance logs, participating in daily activities with clients at the center, completing daily forms for client charts, and assisting the Lead Youth Mentor as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or recognized equivalent
- At least 2 years experience working with high-risk youth
- Knowledge of the Philadelphia JJS
- Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record for the past 5 years
- Current PA Child Abuse, FBI, and PA Criminal History Clearances
- Health Assessment
- PPD (TB Skin Test)
- PA Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training - ACT 31
- CPR certification for Adult and Pediatric
- Covid Vaccination Card
