Youth Mentor Part Time

About the role

ExpertCare is looking for a Youth Mentor to work 1:1 with our Recipients. The position involves supporting, encouraging, and helping with skill-building activities in the recipients' homes. Additionally, you will take them into the community to help achieve their personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Support and encourage Recipients in their daily lives
• Help Recipients build new skills through various activities
• Bring Recipients into the community to support their personal growth
• Work independently and follow assigned care plans
• Ensure all background checks and screenings are completed

Requirements

• Compassionate and patient
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments
• Must be 18 years or older
