Part Time Welder - MIG - TIG

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. In this position, you will work with engineers to interpret drawings to accurately weld structural and non-structural parts for many different industries. Most jobs are low volume, which allows for a greater variety of work. The ideal candidate is independent and versatile with great attention to detail and proven experience as a Welder. The workload will vary from week to week; flexibility is a must, but the employer will work with the candidate's schedule.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings
• Plan layout and measurements of structural components
• Interpret requirements to select the most appropriate approach
• Operate angle grinders, rulers, and other hand and power tools
• Use manual and semi-automatic welding equipment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Welder
• MIG and TIG experience required
• Experience welding steel, stainless, and aluminum
• Bonus for welding less common materials like bronze and copper
• Attention to detail
