About the role
We are seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. This role involves welding tasks with aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel using a variety of equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and work with machines such as:
- Press Brake: Select proper dies based on material thickness and type. Check work using scales, squares, templates, or samples for conformance to drawing tolerances. Set up tooling, load programs, and configure machine parameters. Layout holes, cutouts, and bends, accounting for welding and assembly.
- Metal Rolling: Set up machines to roll cylinders and cones for various designs. Layout holes, cutouts, and bends, accounting for welding and assembly.
- Tube Rolling: Set up machines to roll cylinders and cones for various designs. Layout holes, cutouts, and bends, accounting for welding and assembly.
- Ironworker: Select proper punches based on material thickness and type.
- Saw: Check work using scales, squares, templates, or samples for conformance to the cut list.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding and fabrication of various metal items.
- Knowledge of AWS procedures and positions.
- Experience operating saws, press brakes, tube/metal rollers, and ironworker equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safe welding/fabricating practices.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as bills of materials and drawings.
- Effective interaction with co-workers, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to write operating instructions in English.
- Ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications or equivalent.
- Operational and/or construction industry experience preferred.
